I know, I know. I’ve been slacking and haven’t written an entry. Well, here is your first one!

I saw this linked on a friend’s Facebook. As someone who is minoring in Graphic Design and also deals with people on a daily basis, I think that this is absolutely hilarious.

Clients From Hell is a funny look at the things people say…and how everyone is an expert in every field. The comments are all submitted anonymously, which makes them even more lulzy.

We all have that story from work where the client absolutely knows what they want and won’t accept it any other way. Then when it looks like crap later, they deny ever requesting that.

Here are some ace excerpts:

“Dental Office: “We would like to use your creative services but we would like to see some ideas and concepts before we give you the go ahead.”
Me: “Sure. And since you are a Dental office (and I’m already here), lets go into the next room so you can whiten my teeth. If I like the results, maybe I’ll agree to pay you.””

“The client insisted on having a Jessica Simpson song play on the website. No reasoning behind it. Just liked the song and thought it would be good to have it on the website.”

“Let’s go with a kid-oriented look. Bright colors, fun elements… and I already picked out a font I thought we could use. Do you have Comic Sans?”

It really speaks to the design geek inside of me!

First Posting.

The day is winding down, and I am finally figuring out how wordpress works. It’s much more in-depth than my original website of choice (livejournal.com) and seems to have a stronger, yet more confusing, design base. I made a small “about me” post, but I hope to get some real posts going either tomorrow or Thursday.

My schedule is typically:
M: School
T: Work
W: School
R: Work
F: Work

So, I am pushing myself for at least 3 updates a week.

We’ll see how that goes. But as we all know, everyday someone does/puts something into the world that makes it even more ridiculous!
